Last month, we were delighted to have told you about the Llandudno Victorian Extravaganza, and the fantastic event coming to our town. Our beautiful hotel has been booked solid throughout the May Bank Holiday, but don’t panic – we still have plenty of availability in our pretty restaurant, and we offer a series of fantastic menus which will allow you excellent quality and value in your meal – and a highly Victorian environment which you can enjoy. A small word to the wise: Our Afternoon Tea is regarded as the best in town, and we feel it’s a perfect (authentic!) accompaniment to the festivities!
The Llandudno Victorian Extravaganza will kick off on Saturday, the 5th of May. It’s set to start bright and early (but not too early!) at 10:30am, with an official opening ceremony featuring the one and only (or one of the one and onlys!) Queen Victoria! This will be (this) Her Majesty’s first ever Extravaganza – as she has taken over from her predecessor, the wonderful Muriel Baldwin.
There are a number of events which are up all day, such as the Victorian School, New York or Bust, as well as the much-anticipated and always well received steam engine exhibitions. The Victorian School can be found at 16 Trinity Square, and the steam engines (along with their very proud owners!) will line Mostyn and Madoc street.
